Frequently asked questions
'Net → gross' treats your amount as the net price and adds VAT. 'Gross → net' treats it as the final price and works out the VAT it already contains.
Germany: 19 % standard, 7 % reduced. Austria: 20 % standard, 13 % and 10 % reduced. Switzerland: 8.1 % standard, 2.6 % reduced and 3.8 % special (accommodation). Switzerland is calculated in CHF.
It is great for quick checks, but always confirm the correct rate and rounding for official invoices, as rules can vary by product and case.
